Smithfield, Utah: On January 19, 2005, Arista Roberta Ray-Ann Hamilton, 12, returned to God and became our guardian angel. She was born on May 21, 1992, to Anthony Walter Ray and Jodie Ann (Young) Hamilton in Pocatello, Idaho.

At the time of her death she was in the seventh grade at White Pine Middle School in Richmond, Utah. Arista was a very outgoing, fun-loving girl who was easy to be with and could bring a smile to anyone’s face. She was ambitious and full of life, and she brought joy to all she came in contact with. She had a very special gift of showing love to everyone, even those who didn’t always love her back.

Arista’s three cats were very special and important to her, and she loved and cared for them deeply. Arista was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carol F. Jackson, Walter Ray Hamilton, and her maternal grandfather, Robert A Young. She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Jodie, her sister, Angel, her maternal grandmother, Fay Young, and her godparents, Dan and Kathy Merket and extended family.

Arista, we will always love you and you will be dearly missed until we meet again.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 West Center in Logan. There will be a gathering from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at the church prior to services.
