Ada Womack Neville, 91, passed away Friday March 4th, 2005 of pancreatic cancer. She was born June 12, 1913, the youngest of three daughters, to C. R. and Kathrine Womack in Logan, Utah.

Ada graduated from high school in Logan and attended Utah State University. She moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho and married William Moroni Neville on her birthday in 1946.

Ada and “Bill” worked for a fledgling supermarket company called “Albertsons”, opening new stores in the intermountain area in the late forties and early fifties eventually settling in Idaho Falls.

Ada managed the in-store deli called a “fountain”. She was a homemaker, seamstress, tailor, sorted potatoes, owned her own upholstery business and a super Mom and Grandma.

After retiring in 1983, she returned to Logan and built a new home. She was always giving to others, volunteering at Deseret Industries or crocheting booties for needy babies around the world. Ada loved to make quilts, knit afghans and house slippers and crochet doilies which she freely gave to all her friends and acquaintances.

She was a great cook and loved to bake fruit cakes for Christmas. Ada loved life and loved to be with her family. She loved her pets. She’ll be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Survived by her son Bill (Lana) Neville, Granddaughters, Mindy (Steve) Robins, Katie Neville and great-grandson Porter Robins.

Preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Annie Barnes and Ethel Pickett and a baby daughter.

Graveside services will be held at 2:15 PM, on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 in the Logan City Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the Allen-Hall Mortuary from 12:30 to 2:00 PM prior to services.
