Arda Willes Chapple
RIVER HEIGHTS, UTAH:Arda Willes Chapple of Logan, Utah
passed away on Sunday November 11, 2007 in Salt Lake
City, Utah at the age of 82. After six months of many
health trials including brain cancer she is finally at
peace with her Heavenly Father and reunited with her
sweetheart Mark.
She was born August 27, 1925 to Arthur Willes and
Paulla Cracraft Willes in Joseph, Utah. She grew up
in Utah and Nevada. Her family settled in Spanish
Fork where she met her husband Mark L Chapple. They
were married on April 1, 1944 in Spanish Fork. Their
marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah LDS
Temple. Arda lived in Logan until May 2007 when her
family moved her to Salt Lake so they could take care
of her.
She is survived by; Steve (Marie) Chapple, Sue
(Garry) Choate, Bruce (Lynn) Chapple, Paula (Russ)
Long and daughter-in-law Lynda Chapple, 12
grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Sisters;
Iris Roach, Jan (Bill) Bergen, Kay (Richard) Wade.
Sister-in-laws; Merle Curtis, Theda Chapple, Mary
Ellen (Paul) Beckstrom and Janet (Kirk) Jameson.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Nona
Willes, brother Lynn Willes and numerous in-laws.
Thank you to Woodland Park Care Center, Royal Grove
staff, nurses, aids and physical therapist; Lance,
Amy, Ryan, Ben, Kyle, Penny, Linda, Quint, Jennifer,
Nate, Marie, Rob, Donna, Marcela, Kaycee, Harriett,
Shauna, Neil, Carmelita, Ikram, Melanie, Judy, Buffy,
Duane, Stace and all the others for the wonderful and
compassionate care you so diligently gave to Arda and
her family through this difficult time. Also thank
you to Bristol Hospice; Char, Lisa, Erin and Natalie
for your support and help these last two weeks.
There will be a viewing held at Allen-Hall Mortuary in
Logan, Utah on Thursday November 15 from 6:00 to 8:00
PM. Graveside services will be held at the Spanish
Fork Cemetery on Friday November 16 at 1:00 p.m.
