Blaine H. Spackman
Blaine H. Spackman was reunited with his dad on 20
February 2005. Blaine was born in Logan, Utah, on 2
April 1953.
He was the son of the late Ether Gale
Spackman and Rosalie Hyer Spackman Hancey. He was the
brother of Sally (and Chandler) Baer of Smithfield;
Kelly (and Marilee) Spackman of Lewis ton; Shannon
(and Tony) Deets of Vernal; Coy (and Wendell)
Mickelsen of South Jordan; and Mooch (and Nyla)
Spackman of Hyde Park.
He served a mission in the
Phillipines for the LDS Church. He married his best
friend, Beth Regan Spackman, twenty-five years ago,
and is the much-loved father of Brittany Lynn, Sean,
and Connor Blaine Spackman.
He was preceded in death
by his father, Ether Gale Spackman; his stepfather,
Bob Hancey; and a brother, Clinton Spackman.
Blaine
helped build Nucor, and was hired on after the
construction was completed. He worked there for
twenty-three years. You always kept tabs on Blaine
because otherwise he was plotting his next joke for
you. He loved to go camping, snowshoeing, canoeing,
and paintballing with his family, and enjoyed fishing
and photography when he needed down time. He was also
involved in scouting, and held various positions in
the LDS Church.
We will love you always, Blaine, and
we will always try to remember everything you taught
us. You'll never be far from our hearts, and you will
never be forgotten.
Visitation will be on 23 February
