Deanna Garfield Arbon
Deanna Garfield Arbon took her next step of
progression and passed from this life on 23 November
2005. Having worn the clothes of the sufferer, she
valiantly endured to the end with cancer. We now
commend her into the care and service of family and
friends who have proceeded her, including her parents
Jesse and LaVon Brough Garfield.
Born 3 February 1940
in Tremonton, Utah, Deanna married her sweetheart Bob
K. Arbon on 6 October 1960 in the Logan Temple. She
graduated from Bear River High School and earned a
degree in Cosmetology at Weber State College.
Deanna
is mother to Kelly (Neal) Israelsen of North Logan,
Mike (Jana) Arbon of Princeton, Massachusetts and Jodi
Arbon of Brighton, Massachusetts and has blessed the
lives of (9) grandchildren, who are her pride and joy
- Branden (20), Shawn (16), Taylor (12), Sheldon (8),
Keaton (13), Rylee (11), Bentley (9), Cutler (7), Gage
(3). She is survived also by her spouse and friend Bob
Arbon and her siblings Klea Fae Wright of Moses Lake,
Washington and Don (Trudy) Garfield of Garden City,
Utah.
Deanna is an active member of the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints and served
faithfully in many positions. No titles suited her
more than wife, mother, and friend. Deanna defined and
refined her personality through succororing the weak,
lifting the hands that hang low, and strengthening the
feeble knees.
She is a very compassionate, loving and
patient person and great friend to all who know her.
She is easy to talk to and has an ability to absorb
others problems and ease their concerns. One never saw
her pain as it was covered by her smile and the
twinkle in her eye.
Deanna has always put others needs
before her own. During her struggle with poor health
she has never complained. She loves her grandchildren
and especially enjoys shopping outings with them.
Always known for a beautiful yard and flowers Deanna
has a gift for decorating.
Her family wishes to thank
and acknowledge all those who conveyed love and
concern these past couple of years through visits,
cards, and calls. All who spent time with her felt
enriched. She is the cornerstone of our family and
will be greatly missed until we see her again.
