Dorothy Hubbard Bradshaw
1933-2006
"To do well those things which God ordained to be the
common lot of
all mankind is the truest greatness."
Our sweet wife and Mother was called back home
February 8, 2006 after
a courageous battle with cancer. She left a legacy of
faith,
compassion and complete dedication to family for us to
follow. She
was born November 13, 1933 in Wellsville, Utah, the
third child of
Ernest Benjamin Hubbard and Pearl Haslam Jones
Hubbard.
She grew to
young womanhood in Wellsville where she met and
married her eternal
companion Lloyd Nielsen Bradshaw. They began their
journey together
on March 31, 1954 in the Logan Utah Temple
and invited five children to join that union who were
taught
sacrifice and selflessness at the hands of their
mother who served
them with dedication her entire life.
As a woman of
faith she kept
her covenants and magnified every calling bestowed
upon her including
many years of officiating in the Logan LDS Temple.
She rejoiced when called to serve along side her
husband in the
Nauvoo Illinois mission from 1996-1998.
Her desire to
never give up,
and obedient nature proved her successful, not only as
a Missionary
but also as a Bank Auditor for First Security Bank
where she retired
in July of 1996 after a life time of service.
She
loved nature and
the outdoors, always finding joy in the simple
beauties of the earth.
Assuming the self appointed role as number one fan,
her greatest
moments were spent cheering on her grandchildren in
all their
endeavors. Always looking out for others it can be
said of Mother,
she was a daughter of God without guile, who achieved
greatness by
loving all whom she knew.
She is survived by her
eternal companion,
Lloyd Nielsen Bradshaw. Children and grandchildren,

Mom
loved her Savior and believed in the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. Her life
and testimony was simple, solid and sure. Like you
Mom, we will keep
the ball rolling.
