Elvera A. Campbell, 89, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2004. She was born in Benson, Minnesota one of ten children. She was the last living child.

She joined the U.S. Army in 1943 and was discharged in 1946. She later met her husband, Abel L. Campbell from Providence, Utah. She married and lived in Washington, they owned their own chicken ranch, Abe did carpenter work and she was a beautician.

They loved children and took in several foster children eventually adopting two girls.

They retired and moved back to Cache Valley. She remained active in the LDS Church, enjoyed cooking and all her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Abe. Surviving children are, stepson, Gary L. Campbell, Redmond, Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Brownie Hansen (Pat), Nibley and Mrs. Linn Gittins (Jeannie), Hyrum.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Providence Cemetery (River Heights) with military Honors by the American Legion.. Flowers may be sent to the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St., Logan, Utah.
