Esther Pearl Graham Robertson
Nibley, Utah: On August 19, 2007, Esther Pearl Graham
Robertson passed away. Esther left 13 years to the
day of when the love of her life passed away.
Esther was born on January 1,1920 in Robertson,
Wyoming to Robert Laird and Minnie Myrtle Johnson
Graham. She married Evert Andrew Robertson on May 18,
1940 . The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt
Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Ogden for 18 years,
until they moved to Nibley, Utah in 1958.
Esther held many positions in her church. She served
in the Logan Temple as an ordinance worker. Her
favorite calling was working with the youth as Young
Women’s President and Secretary. Esther loved
gardening growing beautiful Roses and Flowers and she
was known for her beautiful quilts and handiwork.
Esther was a wonderful example to her family and
friends. He marriage and life was a testament to her
children of love, service and dedication.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Joe)
Peterson, Nibley, Utah; Esther Ruth (Pete) Parkinson,
Gilbert, Arizona; Barbara (Stan) Hooper, Sandy, Utah;
Louise (Ron) Weeks, Mapleton, Utah; and
daughter-in-law, Kay Robertson, Clifton, ID; Sisters,
Fern Bliss, Reno, Nevada and Sharon (Devon) Nelson,
Ogden, Utah; 15 grandchildren and 22 great
grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, Evert, son,
Evert Lamont, parents, step mother, Mary Rasmussen
Graham, sisters Roberta Rowland, Delores Cox, Norma
Coburn and brothers, Clyde and James Graham.
We would like to thank Canyon Creek Assisted Living
Nursing staff and Sunbrook Hospice for the loving care
they gave mother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.,
Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Nibley 7th Ward
Chapel, 2825 South 1000 West, Nibley, Utah. Friends
may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center
Street, Logan on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at
the church on Saturday, from 9-10:00 a.m. prior to
services. Interment will be in the Washington Heights
Memorial Park, Ogden, Utah.
