LOGAN, UTAH: Evan F. Chugg, 90, our dad, grandfather,
and friend passed from this life on the morning of
March 7th 2006 to be reunited with his beloved wife of
66 years, Margaret.
Evan was born April 1, 1915, in Providence, a son of
Willard H, and Josephine Rose Chugg.

the Logan LDS temple on June 13, 1968.
Evan worked as a watchmaker and jeweler in the Salt

barber in Logan and Smithfield. He was remembered as
the best barber in the little shop right next to the
original Hall Mortuary.
Until his retirement in 1972 he was employed at Hill
Air Force Base as a calibration specialist in the
standards lab, were he received many awards for his
outstanding work.
Evan was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was an
accomplished mechanic and our jack-of-all-trades, and
could fix anything from automobiles to toys.
Dad had a keen sense of humor and liked to entertain
us all with stories about his many adventures and life
experiences.

granddaughter Tara.
