Forest C. Christensen
Forest Caleb Christensen, "Poot", died on September
21, 2007.
He was born May 27, 1988 in Logan, Utah, the son of
Jason Wells Christensen and Marde Payne Christensen.
He spent his life in Cache Valley. He attended schools
in Cache Valley and Grace, Idaho. He graduated from
Sky View High School in 2007.
For as long as Poot was on this earth, he always
lived life to the fullest. Life always had a new
adventure for him, and he enjoyed many activities with
his family and friends. He was successful and talented
in everything he attempted to do. He had many
passions, and had an ability to intensely focus on
mastering whatever his current interest was. For
example, at age 3 Y2 he learned to ride a bicycle, and
soon after that he taught himself how to ride a
unicycle. He was never idle, and seemed to live his
life on fast forward speed.
Forest loved the outdoors. He and his brothers grew up
together and did everything together as young
children. Forest was the leader of Christensen boys.
He was always inventing new things for his brothers to
play with, build, and ride on. He later enjoyed
"tinkering on" and riding his three-wheelers,
motorcycle, snowmobile, his car and truck. He also
loved fishing, camping, hiking, skiing and
wakeboarding.
Forest loved hands-on learning and work. His favorite
classes in high school were at Bridgerland, where he
became talented in auto collision repair, welding and
carpentry. He was also very artistic and enjoyed
ceramics and drawing.
Though we have always been in awe of Poot's talents
and abilities, what his family will always remember is
his gentle caring nature and his love for others. He
was always concerned for his family and others, and
would sacrifice much of his time helping those around
him, sharing his talents. He was a true giver.
Forest is survived by his parents, Jason and Marde
