Glen K. Scott, 77, passed away after a long illness at his home in River Heights November 7, 2004 surrounded by family.

The eldest son of Melburn Guy Scott and Elizabeth Hickerson, he was born January 28, 1927 in Rock Springs, WY. He attended school in Rock Springs and graduated early to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1945 to 1946 on the U.S.S. Callaway. He married Noreen Nan Carter in Rock Springs on July 3, 1947. That marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

Glen was a longtime employee of the Logan Post Office. After retiring he was a devoted volunteer at Logan Regional Hospital and the Logan Temple. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he served in many church callings.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Noreen. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Sue) Scott, three children, Glen Kenneth (Evelyn) Scott Jr., Carla (Kevin) Hansen, Timothy (Maren) Scott, eleven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ali Ben-Jacob and staff and Alpine Hospice for their care and kindness.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, 2004 at 12:00 pm at the Providence Stake Center, 800 South 600 East, River Heights. A viewing will be held Thursday, November 11,2004 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan and at the Stake Center on Friday, November 12,2004 one hour prior to the service. Interment in Providence Cemetery.
