LOGAN, UTAH: Helen Johnson Budge, 92, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 92 on Monday, January 31, 2005.

Helen was born on September 13, 1912 to Farrell and Luella Ames Johnson in Logan, Utah.

After graduating From USAC in 1934, she taught speech and English at Logan Junior High.

She married Thomas A. Budge of Logan in the Logan LDS Temple on June 2, 1936. They were married for sixty-seven years.

Helen taught Relief Society for many years. She had a great interest in literature and a well-known talent for giving book reviews.

Above all, she had great love for, and was greatly loved by, her husband and family. She made her home a pleasant place to be for her husband, family, and mends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and her sons, Tom Jr. and Paul, she is survived by her daughter, Arlene Price (Stephen) of Logan; and her daughters-in-law, Marin Budge of Salt Lake City and Amy Budge of Alaska.

She has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Logan Hillcrest 2nd Ward on Friday at 11:00 am. Funeral services at 12:00 pm Viewing will be from 10:30 - 11:45 am at the church, 875 North 1500 East Logan. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
