SMITHFIELD, UTAH: Janice Elaine Spicer Sparks passed away April 21,2005, after suffering 30 + years from crippling arthritis. She was surrounded by her family.

She was born April 18, 1929 in Aylesworth, OK a daughter of Joe and Fay Boys Spicer. Janice had a brother Joe and a sister Doris. All preceded her in death. Janice moved to San Francisco when she was 17 years old. There she met the love of her life, Ted Sparks. They were married Sept. 26,1950. They had one son Don Sparks.

Janice was a member of the LDS church. She was the most giving person anyone could meet. She truly exemplified what charity is. Her family was her most valued possession.

She managed the snack bar at Albertson's for 10 years, where she made many lifelong friends.

She is survived by her son Don (Susan) of Smithfield Utah, three grandchildren. Scott, Colby and Jaci , and seven great-grandchildren. We love and thank you grandma. We will miss you.

The family wants to thank the second wing staff at Sunshine Terrace for all their loving care and devotion to Janice.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26th at 11:00 am at the Allen-Cranney Mortuary 410 East 1800 North, North Logan. Family and friends may call at the mortuary one hour prior to services.
