Kenneth E. Davis
Preston, Idaho: Kenneth E.”Kenny” Davis, 45, passed
away peacefully at his home in Preston on Wednesday,
June 19, 2005 following a gallant battle with cancer.
He was born in Logan on September 19, 1959 to Reid N.
and Josephine “Jo” Jessop Davis. Kenny grew up in
Providence and graduated from Sky View High School in
1977. Kenny was always happy and quick to share his
cheerful and wry humor. He greeted everyone instantly
with a huge grin and was truly a friend to everyone
who knew him. He was tremendously talented, and was
widely recognized as an excellent locksmith and glass
technician. He was most recently employed at Plastic
Industries in Preston.
He is survived by his wife and
soul-mate, Lori; daughters Summer (Jason) Howe of
Smithfield and Lindsey Daines of Logan; granddaughters
Baylee (7) and Brighten (4) Howe of Smithfield; his
mother Jo Davis of Providence; brothers Gary R.
(Cheryl) Davis of Malad, Paul R. Davis of Providence,
Mike R. Davis of Preston, sister Bonnie J. Stone of
Provo, and his beloved dog “Pepper.”
He was preceded
in death by his father Reid Davis and brother-in-law,
Dwight Stone.
We wish to express our great
appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all of the
medical personnel who helped take care of Kenny during
his time of illness. These include Richard McWhorter,
MD, Terrell Hunsaker, PA, Ali Ben-Jacob, MD, and the
entire staffs of the Surgical, Infusion Therapy, Home
Care and Hospice at Logan Regional Hospital as well as
the Urology and Surgical departments of the Budge
Clinic.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing
from 12-1:30 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan and
a graveside service will be conducted at Millville
Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 2. There will be
a celebration of Kenny’s life held at the home of Mike
Davis in Preston at 7 p.m. the same evening. Always
remember to “Keep Laughing.”
