Kevin Doyle Croshaw
Hyde Park - Kevin Doyle Croshaw, 50, passed away on
June 15, 2006 due to a motorcycle accident. Kevin was
born on January 6, 1956 in Logan Utah, the son of Roy
Fisher and Donna Mae Campbell Croshaw. He married
Cynthia Hancey on June 30, 1977 in Providence. Their
marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple
on January 22, 1994. Kevin and Cynthia are the parents
of three sons, Adam, serving in the Brazil Joao Pessoa
Mission, Aaron, and Michael.
Kevin was educated in the Cache County School District
and graduated from Sky View High School. He received
his contractor’s license in 1990 and at the time of
his death was the chief building inspector for Logan
city. As evidence of Kevin’s dedication at work, he
received the Utah Chapter Jessie Miller Award in
February 2006. The Jessie Miller is an honorary award
issued to building officials that go above and beyond
the call of duty.
Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family, camping,
fishing, boating, skiing, traveling and tennis. He was
very involved with his boys in sports and scouting.
Kevin was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in various
church callings, most recently as an Elder’s Quorum
instructor.
Kevin is survived by his wife and sons of Hyde park,
his parents of Providence, brothers and sisters, Bette
Jo Croshaw-Sandy, Roylan (Dorothy)-Logan, Boyd
(Wendy)-Smithfield, Kathleen (Verlo)
Howell-Providence, Denise (Karl) Hillyard-Farmington,
Lisa Ann (Gary) Leavitt-North salt Lake, Elaine
(Scott) Olson-Providence, Janalee (Alan) Jones-Layton.
Kevin is also survived by his father and
mother-in-law, Lynn and Roxie Hancey-Providence,
brothers and sisters-in-law Kevin (Michelle)-Paradise,
Bret (Debbie)-River Heights, Bart-Logan, Alyson (Gary)
Straquadine-Providence, Marnie (Robert)
Stoddard-Layton, Teryl-Logan, Brooke-Providence,
Darcie (Jeremy)-Logan, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Rolyn
Hancey.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday,
June 21, 2006, in the Hyde Park 4th Ward Chapel, 480
North 100 West, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held on
Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall
Mortuary and prior to services at the church from
10:30 to 11:45 AM. Condolences may be sent to the
family at Allen Mortuaries.
