Logan, Utah: Lelia Ethel Siler Anderson, born June 5, 1919 went to the home of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 17, 2005. She was the daughter of Cary Siler and Sarah Jane Miller Siler of Campbell County, Tennessee.

She was generous and compassionate. She was an exceptional poet and a wonderful teacher of the gospel. She was a talented artist. She was a retired member of the American National Pen Women and published a book of poems entitled “Heirloom Lace.”

She was a devoted mother and wife and was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1947. She was sealed to her late husband Charles Boston Anderson in the Salt Lake Temple in August 9, 1960. They were married on September 30, 1945.

She is survived by her only son, Tommy J. Anderson and his wife Melissa Jane Anderson, three grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Elizabeth Siler, and David Benjamin Anderson all of Logan. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren, Mahenzie Lee Anderson, Whitnee Jane Whitmore, Landon Ryan Whitmore, Jacob Thomas Anderson, Abby Rae Anderson and Carter Jon Anderson.

Lelia worked in the Atlanta Temple for 6 years as an ordinance worker and had two mission calls with her husband as Stake missionaries.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at the Wellsville Cemetery.
