Lyle Richard Anderson
Lyle Richard Anderson, 81, died peacefully at home on
Oct. 1st , 2006 following complications of a long
illness.
He was born Dec. 29th, 1924, the fourth child born to
Clara and Andrew Anderson.
He married Renee Parkinson Murray on Nov. 30th, 1949,
in the Salt Lake LDS temple.
Lyle was a lover of the outdoors and animals,
especially horses. He deeply appreciated God's
beautiful handiwork around him. He and his wife,
Renee, spent many hours exploring the mountains and
trails on horseback.
Lyle was a hard worker all his life, and a more honest
man couldn't be found. To know Lyle was to like him.
He was a genuine friend, and a happy spirit. A true
man of integrity. He had a great love for his family
and friends.
He spent twenty years as a tile setter, and then spent
20 more years with his boss and best friend, J.D.
Cushman on the Big C Horse Ranch.
He was a High Priest at the time of his death.
He was especially thankful for his wife's constant
care and support during the last seven long years. His
sons, Richard and Gary were there to fill any needs,
along with many dear friends, family and
grandchildren. He appreciated each kind thought and
deed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers,
Harold and Ned, and sister Ila He is survived by his
wife, Renee, Sons, Richard (Linda) Anderson, Gary
Anderson, all of Richmond. Five grandchildren, and six
great-grandchildren. Also one brother Rex (Dixie)
Anderson of Richmond.
A special thanks is extended for Dr. Michael Stones,
James Sherner and the staff of the dialysis center at
Logan Regional Hospital, and Hospice Access for their
love and care. Also a special thanks to Bishop Malcom
Stokes, and family and close friends for their support
during the last three weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on
Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at the Richmond Stake Center,
136 W. Main, Richmond, Utah. A viewing will be held
Wed., Oct. 4th from 6-8 pm in the Richmond Stake
Center, and Thursday from 10:30 - 11 :45 am. Bishop
Malcom Stokes is officiating, and the services are
under the direction of the Allen-Hall Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Richmond City Cemetery.
