Mark LeRoy Hall
LOGAN, UTAH: Mark LeRoy Hall, 77, of Logan, Utah, died
Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Logan Nursing and Rehab
Center of causes incident to age.
He was born Sept. 25, 1928 in Burton, Idaho, the
fifth child of Samuel Stuart and Margaret Maria
Heileson Hall.
He attended schools in Burton and Rexburg, Idaho,
graduating from Madison High School. He attended
Ricks College in Rexburg and received his Associate
Degree.
He was called to the New Zealand Mission for the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1948.
He married Beth Bagley, June 25, 1953 in the Idaho
Falls LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS
church serving as home teacher and Seventies Group
Leader. He was later divorced. He married Joan Egan
and was later divorced.
For a brief time, he was a teacher in Mack's Inn,
Idaho. He worked for the Sugar Factory in Idaho Falls
and also worked for the Rexburg Lumber Company for
several years. After moving from the area, he worked
for Anderson Lumber in Dillon, Montana, and again for
Anderson Lumber in Logan, Utah.
He enjoyed music and reading. He loved attending
the temple in Logan during his later years and had
enjoyed coming home to his roots in the Logan area.
He is survived by three daughters and two sons,
eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two
brothers, Samuel J. Hall and David A. Hall, and two
sisters, Melba Ricks and Norma White.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan 17 at
noon at the Wellsville, Utah Cemetery under the
direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. A family viewing
will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Allen-Hall Mortuary
at 34 E. Center Street in Logan prior to the graveside
services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest
donations be made to Carl Innoway Housing in Logan,
Utah or the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund in
care of Bishop Randy Craner of the Logan LDS
Fourteenth Ward. Condolences and memories may be sent
