RICHARD LE MOYNE BAUGH
Richard Le Moyne Baugh 72, died Monday October 31,
2005 of natural causes at his home in Logan. He was
born January 28, 1933 in Logan, Utah, the second son
of Fred B. and Grace H. Baugh. He graduated from Logan
High School and attended Utah State University.
He married Florence Louise Barrett March 9, 1954. They
were later divorced. He married Prakong "Lynn"
Klumsoom on June 27, 1968 in Pak Chong, Thailand.
He served in the U. S. Army in Germany. He worked in
the plumbing business with his father and brother for
many years. He then traveled to Southeast Asia to work
for a construction company. That is where he met and
married Prakong. They had three children while living
there. Upon his return, he took over Baugh Plumbing
Co. which he owned and operated with his son until his
retirement.
Richard loved to hunt and fish. He could always catch
fish when no one else could. He enjoyed traveling. He
was always independent and was always willing to help
anyone. In his latter years, he enjoyed being an
active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day-Saints. He enjoyed visiting with his
neighbors and the people he served as a home teacher.
Above all, he loved his wife and family.
He is survived by his wife, Prakong, three daughters:
Susan Michelle Baugh, West Valley City, Utah; Tracy
Louise (Gerald) Wright, San Antonio, Texas: Mem
Baugh-Rasmussen, Las Vegas, Nevada; Penny (Scott)
Rodgers, Logan, Utah: and one son; Richard Victor
(Kim) Baugh, Logan, Utah; he had one son and two
daughters who died in infancy. He also has 17
grandchildren. He is survived by one brother, Fred B.
(Doris) Baugh of
Brigham City, Utah; two sisters; Cherrill B. (Ross)
Nielsen of Pleasant View, Utah; and Mary Alice (Clark)
Andersen of Lyman, Wyoming.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2005
at 10:00 AM at the Logan 6th Ward Chapel, 94 W. 600 S.
in Logan. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on
Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary,
34 East Center in Logan, and one hour prior to
services at the church. Interment will be in the
Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the
family at Allen Mortuaries.
