LOGAN - Shirlee Lisle (Maupin) Potter, 53, passed away peacefully September 11, 2004 due to complications of diabetes and Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Born September 26, 1950 in Rexburg, Idaho to Oscar J. and Lois B. Maupin. Married Dennis R. Potter on October 17, 1973 in Elko, Nevada.

She graduated from South Fremont High School, St. Anthony, Idaho in 1969. After attending cosmatology college in Rexburg, Idaho, she relocated to Logan, Utah where she pursued her professional career. Shirlee was an astute business women and owned her own business in Logan and later co-owned a business in Titusville, Florida. However, her true joy came from being a wife and mother.

Shirlee was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in various callings. She is survived by her husband Dennis R. Potter of Logan; her children Dennis J. (Tamara) and Heather M. of Bountiful, Devin L. and Bryan R. of Logan; her mother Lois B. Maupin, St. Anthony, ID; her siblings Mark McCullough, Rexburg ID, Linda (Gerald) Cookston, Boise, ID; Jeris Baldwin, SLC, and William (Lori) Maupin, St.Anthony, ID. Proceeded in death by her father Oscar J. Maupin.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, 2004, at 10 am in the Cliffside First Ward Chapel (1380 E. 25 N.).Friends of the family are invited to attend viewings to be held Thursday, September 16 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan and Friday at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
