Virginia Clark Bragg
NIBLEY-Virginia Clark Bragg, 68, passed away Tuesday
March 11, 2008 at her home in Nibley, Utah, surrounded
by her family. She had battled with cancer for more
than ten years.
Virginia was born in Provo, Utah on May 23, 1939, the
daughter of James R. and Helen J. Clark. She married
Donald Bragg on September 13, 1963 in the Salt Lake
LDS Temple. Together they had four children. Virginia
graduated from Brigham Young University in 1961 with a
BS in Food Nutrition and later received an MS in Food
Nutrition from Utah State University. Virginia worked
in Logan, Utah area Hospitals for more than two
decades as a registered dietitian. She also taught
culinary, and nutrition science classes for USU for
over 10 years.
Virginia served in many callings and responsibilities
in The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and
often expressed her fondness for the people she worked
with and her love of the gospel. She was also very
fond of cooking, sewing, taking care of her grandkids
and she loved to keep things clean!
She is survived by her husband, Donald Bragg; four
children, Robin (Jeff) White, Grant (Lori) Bragg,
Aaron (Shalayne) Bragg, Ruth (Justin) Blau; 5
grandchildren, Rebekah, Joseph and Mary White and
Skyler and Jackson Bragg; and her two brothers, Steven
(Maurine) Clark, and Bruce (Gayle) Clark.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 17,2008 at
11 :00 AM at the Nibley, Utah Stake Center, 3701 S.
450 West, Nibley, Utah. A viewing will be held Sunday,
March 16, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall
Mortuary, 34 E. Center Street and on Monday at the
church from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Interment will be in the
Hyrum City Cemetery.
The Family wishes to express their sincere thanks to
the many health care workers at the Huntsman Cancer
Institute, IHC Hospice, and local health care
providers. We also express love and gratitude to the
many friends, family and ward members who have helped
over the past few years. In lieu of flowers, please
make donations to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Salt
Lake City, Utah. Condolences may be expressed to the
family at Allen Mortuaries.
