Craig Joseph Anderson
Our beloved Craig Joseph Anderson, 21, passed from
this life Nov. 5, 2003 due to injuries
sustained in a car accident.
Craig was born on "lucky" Friday the 13th of August,
1982 in Logan. He grew up
surrounded by family and friends in North Logan. As a
youth, he was active in scouting and earned
the Eagle Scout Award. Craig graduated from Sky View
High School and LDS Seminary in 2000,
where he developed athletic, musical and leadership
talents in a variety of activities. He attended
Utah State University, majoring in Chemistry and
pre-med. Craig's deep love of learning inspired
him to excel in all his studies.
Craig's favorite activities included skiing,
mountain climbing trips with his family, playing
with his nephew and nieces, and adding to his
expansive 170 necktie collection. He loved to spend
his summers working alongside his brother in their
cornfield, growing and selling their famous
Anderson Brother's Corn. Craig exhibited a strong work
ethic in his employment, as in all aspects
of his life. As a teenager, he worked for a local sod
farm. Later he especially enjoyed working as a
CNA in the adult day center at Sunshine Terrace. He
also volunteered with the Muscular Dystrophy
Association's summer camp. His generosity and ability
to love everyone earned him friends of every
age and background. A lifelong member of The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Craig
gladly served in his callings and was dearly loved by
the children he taught in the Primary.
Craig's energy and enthusiasm for life was
contagious. "Happiness is a choice" was one of
his trademark phrases. In thought, word, and action,
Craig chose happiness each day. He will be
remembered for his bright smile and friendly nature.
His perpetual optimism and fun-loving sense
of humor made him a joy to be around. Craig brought
out the best in everyone. He had a special gift
for making people feel loved and important.
Craig recently returned from faithful service in the
LDS Ireland Dublin Mission, where he
labored with his whole heart and soul. He constantly
expressed the great joy he found in the work
and his love for the people he met. His diligent and
valiant missionary service touched countless
lives and will bless generations to come. Craig's
knowledge and testimony of the gospel stand as a
beacon to all who knew him.
As a son, grandson, brother, uncle, missionary and
friend, Craig's love, purity and strength
of character exemplified the finest attributes in
human nature. We were blessed to know and love
him.

and Ruth Anderson, North Logan; Ross and Louise
