Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Dorothy Katherine Fisher Belangee, age 80, died on June 21, 2004, surrounded by family and friends in Cedar Park, Texas.

Dorothy was born on December 15, 1923 in Smithfield, Utah to Glen Roberts and Sara Tueller Fisher. Dorothy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was raised and educated in Smithfield, Utah, graduating from North Cache High School.

In 1943, she married Harry Belangee, Jr. He passed away in 1994. She and her husband owned several businesses in Pocatello, Idaho, for many years before retiring to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dorothy has been living with her daughter and son-in-law in Texas for the last five years. She has also spent the last five summers with her sister and brother-in-law in Providence.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Kit (Tom) Bennett and her son; Kevan (Carol) Belangee of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren, Dana Whiteus of Texas, Trisha Dickman and Kevan Belangee of Nevada; two sisters, Cheryl (Wendell) Liechty of Providence, and Dixie (Tom) Reese of Smithfield; two brothers, Ferrin (Hildegard) Fisher and Blaine (Jolene) Fisher of Pocatello, Idaho; two brothers-in-law, Reed Ricks of St. George, Utah and Jack Young of Draper, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, June 28, 2004 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan, Utah. The family will receive friends at the mortuary prior to the services from 10:30 to 11:45 AM. Burial will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery.
