PARADISE--Daniel LeLand Williams, 59, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on April 26, 2004.

Danny was born April 22, 1945 in Murray, Utah, to Rea LeRoy Williams and Ada Labrum Williams. He married Patricia Lynn Judy on March 30, 1968. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on June 14, 1988.

He attended Murray High School, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Danny was a miner for many years, and was employed by Fairchild Semiconductor for 24 years. He was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family was his greatest source of joy and happiness. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. He worked hard all of his life, and sacrificed unselfishly to help others who were in need.

He is survived by his eternal companion, Pat Williams; brothers Roscoe (Elaine) Williams; Terry (Ruth) Williams; Rick Williams; sisters June Campagna; Ann Van Der Meer; Sharon Doolittle; son Daniel L. Williams, jr.; daughter Deann (Patrick) Gilbert; daughter Rebekah (Darrell) Fordham; grandchildren Brittney, Katie, Rebekah, Samie, Braxton, Janie, T.J., Sadey, Tabby, Kylie. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, baby Williams, Ray, Richard, and William.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 1st at the Paradise 2nd Ward Chapel, 9060 South 200 West at 1:00 pm. A viewing will be held at the church prior to funeral services, from 11:00am to 12:45pm. Interment will be at the Paradise City Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements by Allen-Hall Mortuary.
