Elaine Seamons Hale
Logan Utah: Elaine Seamons Loveland Hale returned home
to her Father in Heaven on March,. 9,2004 surrounded
by her family. She was born September 1,1915 in Hyde
Park,Utah.
The fourth child of John Robert and Hannah Lund
Seamons who had ten children.
Her early childhood was spent in Hyde Park, Utah
Battle Creek and Bandcroft , Idaho.
She graduated from North Cache High school in 1932.She
married William Ellis Loveland March 1,1934 in Logan
LDS temple for time and all eternity. To this union
were born two daughters
Jo Ann and Marilyn.
Ellis passed away June 28,1949 in Logan, Utah. After
Ellis's passing she was lost and had two children to
support. She went to California and lived with her
sister Roeine and Jim. There she attended Practical
Nursing School where she graduated. On returning to
Logan she worked at The Budge Hospital.
She later met
and married Ferrin Alma Hale on February 13, 1953 in
the Logan LDS temple. Ferrin had three children Coy,
Jeaneen and Quinn and in August 1954 a son David was
born to this union. Together they started Hale's
Arctic Circle which they operated for about twelve
years. Ferrin passed away May 2,1974 in Logan, Utah.
Elaine loved to crochet, knit and sew and many family
and friends have received her work. She was also a
good cook and making chocolates was her pastime. She
spent many years of service in the church as a Relief
Society Teacher. She also taught the older girls in
Primary. Ferrin and Elaine were called to do so many
names a month in the temple for a years' time. After
Ferrin's passing she continued to attend the temple
which she enjoyed very much.
Grand Mother was proud of
her family and loved her religion, they were her life
and was proud to serve her Father in Heaven. We are
proud to have you as a Mom and Grandmother.
Elaine is survived by her children Coy (Janice) Hale,
Jo Ann Mc Coy, Jeaneen (Donald) Burgess, Marilyn
(Arlen) Whittington, Quinn Hale and David (Judene)
Hale. Twenty-one Grand children and thirty-four Great
Grand children. Two sisters, Sarah Daines and Roeine
(Jim) Jensen and numerous Brother's in-law and
Sister's in-law.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands,
four brothers and three sisters, a son-in-law and
grandson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March
15, 2004 at twelve noon in The River Heights First
Ward LDS chapel at 800 south 600 east River Heights.
Friends and relatives are invited to a viewing 6pm to
8pm Sunday March 14,2004 at Allen Hall Mortuary 34
East Center Logan ,Utah and 10:30am to 11:30am Monday,
March 15, 2004 before the services at the chapel.
Interment will be in the Logan City cemetery.
We as a family wish to express our thanks to the
staff, at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Home
for their many hours of loving care given to Elaine.
