Logan, Utah: Elsie W. Hansen, 90, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2004 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of cancer.

Elsie was born on July 26, 1913 in Providence, Utah to Ernest and Emilie Meyer Weibel. Elsie attended school in the Logan area. She married Melvin L. Hansen on January 22, 1930 in Logan.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Until the time spent in the hospital and nursing home, she resided in her home in Logan. Elsie enjoyed the friendship she had with her family and friends.

Elsie is survived by her son; Ronald (Judy) Hansen of Logan, one sister; Florence Henriksen of Nibley, five grandchildren; Bob, Steve and Mike Hansen of Boise, Idaho, Craig (Debbie) Hansen of Logan, and Debbie (Richard) Jensen of Scottsboro, Alabama. Eight great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the mortuary and from 10:30 to 11:45 AM prior to services on Thursday at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
