MILLVILLE, UTAH: Elldina Nelson Moynier, of Millville, passed away on April 22, 2004.

She was born June 23, 1909 to early Swedish pioneers of Millville, John and Hanna Mortenson Nelson. Elldina had a great love of the beauty of Cache Valley and its abundant wildlife. Her beloved brothers, Harry and Herman, always remarked that they knew two things about their sisters, “She was a ‘crack shot’ and ‘just crazy about horses’”.

In 1927 Elldina left Millville and headed to California where she met and married Emil Moynier of the Santa Monica Fire Department. There they raised two daughters, Allaire and Kathy. After working as a Medical Assistant for many years Elldina “Dee” returned to Millville to live the remainder of her life.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters, Allaire and Kathy , a granddaughter, Paige, grandsons, Stephen Gunnar and Mathew, a great-grandson, Dillon.

As per Dee’s request she will be buried next to her mother on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 1:00 pm in the Millville Cemetery with a simple graveside service. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary.
