Theron Glen Roskelley
SMITHFIELD, UTAH: Our beloved Husband, Father and
Grandfather, Theron Glen Roskelley 76, passed away May
18, 2004 due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
Glen was born in Smithfield, Utah on August 29, 1927
to Alice and George Roskelley. He was the youngest of
7 children, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
He served in World War II in Okinawa. He then married
his sweetheart Coy Larson in Salt Lake on February 23,
1949. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
Glen loved to be with Coy, she was the love of his
life and they were inseperable! They loved to travel
and enjoyed many fun vacations together and with
family and friends.
Glen was self employed in the mattress and upholstery
business. He was devoted to his work and had a great
talent for working with others.
He was an active member of the LDS Church and served
in many different callings through the years. He loved
them all and was happy to serve.
He loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting, being in the
mountains and playing his harmonica. Glen took much
pride in his home, yard and garden. They were always
kept immaculate and you could always find him working
outside. He also loved being with family and friends
and especially making others laugh! We will all miss
his jokes. Glen was truly a joy to be around.
Our family has been so blessed to have him and his
example in our lives. He will live in our hearts
forever and we will never forget the hunting and
fishing trips or the Daddy-Daughter dates.
Glen is survived by his wife Coy and their five
children. Danny (Kris) of
Smithfield, Randy Kim of Salt Lake City, Larry of
Ogden, Deby Miller (Mark) of Hyrum and Michael
(Bonnie) of Ogden. He had 18 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 5
brothers, 1 sister and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday,
May 24,2004 at the Smithfield 19th Ward: 79 East 200
South in Smithfield, with Bishop Mark Woodward
officiating.
