Ida Hickman Brangham, 93 year old Logan resident, died Sunday, January 25 at Sunshine Terrace. She was born July 5, 1910 in Manila, Philippine Is., the daughter of James Hickman and Lena Hoffman Hickman. At age 2 she returned to the U.S. with her family and homesteaded in Leadore, Idaho, until the death of her father when she was 5 years old. The family then moved to Logan where she grew up and attended school.

She married George Erwin Brangham on January 4, 1933. They were the parents of three children.

She worked at the Utah State University cafeteria while her husband was overseas during World War II, and again from 1950 to her retirement in 1975. After her retirement she worked as a volunteer at the Logan Hospital until the age of 91. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ralph and Pat Mitchell of Burley, Idaho, her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Frances Brangham of Los Angeles, California, her son, James Brangham of Mendon, Utah, 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her two sisters and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 12:00 noon in the Logan City Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan on Saturday from 11 to 11 :30 a.m.
