Logan, Utah: H. Kenneth Mack, 68, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2004 of an apparent sudden heart attack.

He was born on July 13, 1935 in Logan, Utah to Harry and Bernice Mack. He married Beverly Bateman on June 21, 1957 in Elko, Nevada.

He graduated from North Cache High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. Ken worked for U.S. West Communications for 34 years and retired in November 1990. He was a Member of the American Legion Post #7, Communication Workers of America, Telephone Pioneers and the Birch Creek Men’s Golf Association.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer and fisherman. Ken’s greatest joy was his family. He was a friend to all the knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Logan, Utah; daughter, Sally Pack of Park City, Utah; grandchildren, Casey and Whitney Pack, also of Park City; brothers, James R. Mack of Brigham City, Utah and Thomas Lee Mack of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 26, 2004, at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St., Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the mortuary, and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:45 AM prior to services. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery.
