North Logan, Utah - Leonard Byron Higham, 75, died June 8, 2003 at his home in North Logan. He was born November 4, 1927 in Bakersfield, California to Thomas Gould and Leona May Bess Miller Higham.

He married Marilyn Joyce Blackburn on April 2, 1955 in the St. George, Utah LDS Temple. He was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the US Army during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, five sons and two daughters; L. Alan Higham (Marty), Richmond, Utah; Dale B. Higham (Peggy), Benton City, Washington; Elizabeth Gudmundson (Alan), Cedar City, Utah; John Higham (September), Mt. View, California; Dave Higham (Christine) Logan, Utah; Amy Olsen (Jeff), Smithfield, Utah; Adam Higham (Shannon), Charlotte, North Carolina, 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2003 at the North Logan 11th Ward Chapel, 1550 East 1900 North with Bishop George Whittle conducting. There will be a viewing at the church on Friday from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Hyde Park Cemetery. Arrangements by the Allen-Cranney Mortuary.
