LOGAN, UTAH: Melvin DeVon Naylor, 56, passed away on May 8, 2003 at the University Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born April 22, 1947 in Logan, Utah a son of Melvin Leland and Shirley Atkinson Naylor.

Devon spent his early life in Utah and moved to Nevada where he was employed at Newmont Mining for 14 years. DeVon was an avid fisherman, loved to hunt and most of all spend time with his children and dog "Zena."

He is survived by his two sons, Rory Naylor of Elko, NV; Brannon Naylor, Kenai, Alaska, a daughter, Tonna Blackwell, Anchorage, Alaska, a granddaughter, Teyha, Kenai, Alaska, mother, Shirley Naylor, two brothers, Leland Naylor and Cordell Naylor, three sisters, Jeannie Folkman, AraDee Larson and Tara Cito. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Naylor.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 12, 2003 at 1:00 pm in the Logan City Cemetery. There will be no public viewing. Arrangement by Allen-Hall Mortuary.
