Hyrum, Utah: Otto Klinkowski loving husband, father and grandfather returned home to his Heavenly Father on September 14, 2003 due to complications from a recent illness.

Otto was born January 14, 1932 in Santoppen, East Prussia. After coming to the United States in 1955 he met Mae-Marie Magnuson and they were married in 1963. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Oakland Temple in Oakland, California.

Otto was a humble, patient, and loving man. He always had a welcoming smile and judged no one. He loved the gospel, temple work, genealogy, and reading the scriptures. Otto invested his entire life to provide for his family. He was proud of his sons and daughter and all his grandchildren. He came to this country with a burning desire for freedom and had a great love of this country. “Poppy” will be greatly missed by his family.

Otto is survived by his wife of forty years, Mae-Marie Klinkowski, Hyrum, Utah; three children, Mary Hollingsworth, Herriman, Utah; Mike Klinkowski, Wellsville, Utah and David Klinkowski, Clarkston, Utah and thirteen grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at the Hyrum Cemetery, Hyrum, Utah. Arrangements by Allen-Cranney Mortuary, North Logan, Utah.
