LOGAN, UTAH: Rachel Eastmond, 26, of Logan, beloved daughter of J. Nicholls (Nick) and Irene Summerhays Eastmond of Logan, Utah , passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2004.

She was born May 21, 1977 in Seoul, Korea. She became a U.S. citizen at age 3. She attended Logan City schools, and was attending Utah State University majoring in Journalism. She married Shad Roghaar on April 8, 1995. They were later divorced.

Rachel was an artist, enjoying music, poetry, reading, painting and graphic arts. She became a great cook. We loved her calm spirit and pleasing ways. She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Chloe Dannielle Roghaar of Logan, grandparents, Jefferson N. Eastmond, SLC/Provo; Dorothy Mortensen, Salt Lake City; her parents of Logan, siblings, Suzanne and Jonathan , Salt Lake City; Abraham and Michael “Mo”, Logan, as well as a large extended family and friends who love her very much.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:30 - 11:30 am. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
