Sherrill Alexander Huff, "Shell"
NEWTON, UTAH: Sherrill Alexander Huff, "Shell",
beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend,
rejoined his Father-in-Heaven on February 11, 2004.
Shell was born to Sherrill O. and Eleanor Brough Huff
on October 15, 1968 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He
graduated from Sky View High School in 1986 and then
served a mission to Denmark for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints. Following his mission he
pursued various interests and attended both Weber
State and Utah State Universities.
On June 10, 1995 he
was sealed for time and all eternity to Tammy Lynn
Downard in the Logan LDS Temple. They have 4 beautiful
children, Lauralyn, Shelby, Sarah, and Samuel and are
expecting a 5th child in April. Shell worked as a
software engineer for Spillman Technologies in Logan,
Utah.
Shell loved life. He had a great many interests and
talents and brought a wonderful and infectious
enthusiasm to everything that he did. He especially
enjoyed technology and the physical and mechanical
sciences. He loved figuring out how things worked. He
enjoyed working at Spillman and greatly esteemed his
co-workers.
Shell loved his family so much and always put them
first. He was the most wonderful husband, father,
brother, son, and friend that anyone ever had. He was
always generous, loving, and kind and was always ready
with a happy smile, a friendly word, and a helping
hand. He will be greatly missed.
Shell loved his Father-in-Heaven and his Savior and
always desired to do what was right. He exemplified
the words of the Savior when He said, "go and do thou
likewise." Shell truly loved his neighbor. He met and
overcame adversity in his life with great strength,
great faith, and a smile on his face. We love you
Shell and feel so blessed to have had you in our
lives. We look forward with great joy and anticipation
to the time when we shall be reunited again with you.
Shell was preceded in death by his son, Samuel, and by
both his parents. He is survived by his wife and
daughters, and by his sisters, Alayna Huff and Daela
Huff of Logan, Ut, and by his brother Benjamin Huff of
